A very good, couple rubbed/worn spots to discolored[sun faded] clamshell case/some discoloration to interior suede/light foxing to inlaid newsletter/pre-lims of book, copy in clamshell box. Massive volume with eight original silkscreens by Jacob Lawrence printed on Whatman paper by Osiris Printing. The text sheets are printed on handmade paper from Cartiere Enrico Magnani of Pescia, Italy.

Full midnight blue Japanese cotton with gilt title on front cover; black cloth-covered & suede- lined clamshell box with inlaid leather label on front panel.
