The book for sale is a rare signed, limited edition of Franz Kafka's surreal masterpiece Metamorphosis. The book is illustrated by renowned Mexican artist Jose Luis Cuevas and was published by Limited Editions Club in 1984 as a limited edition of 1500 copies. This is copy number 368 and is pencil signed by Cuevas. The book is in near fine condition with slight toning to the spine and wear to the top, front, and bottom board edges, see photos.
The spine and boards are tight and straight. There are no internal markings, other than Cuevas' signature. There is no previous owner's bookplate. The sale also includes the rare LEC monthly newsletter. The slipcase is in near fine condition with wear to top and bottom boards, see photos.
